WildFolio is operated by Permission Labs ("WildFolio," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the WildFolio mobile application and related services.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information:

Account information

• Email address or account identifiers used for sign-in.
• Authentication information from Apple, Google, or email OTP sign-in.
• User ID and profile records created to operate your account.

Photos and nature observations

• Photos you choose to upload for species identification.
• Observation records, including species candidates, confirmed species, timestamps, and collection history.
• Image metadata where available. We try to limit unnecessary metadata and strip location metadata where technically supported.

Location information

• Approximate or precise location if you grant location permission.
• Location may be used to show nearby species, map your own observations, improve identification context, and organize your personal nature archive.
• You can disable location access in your device settings.

Subscription and purchase information

• Subscription status, product identifiers, purchase events, renewal status, and entitlement status.
• Payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
