These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WildFolio, a mobile application and related services operated by Permission Labs Inc. By using WildFolio, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About WildFolio WildFolio helps you identify species, build a personal nature archive (codex), view observations, and explore nature-related information. WildFolio may use automated systems, AI models, third-party data sources, and user-provided information to provide species identification and related features.
2. Eligibility You must be at least 14 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use WildFolio. If you use WildFolio on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.
3. Your Account You may need an account (via Apple, Google, or email) to use some features. You are responsible for keeping your account secure, for activity under it, and for providing accurate, up-to-date information. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your account is used in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
4. Photos, Observations, and User Content You may upload photos, location context, observation records, reports, and feedback ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting it, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, analyze, and use it as needed to operate, improve, secure, and support WildFolio. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your User Content and that it does not violate others' rights or applicable law. Do not upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or invasive of privacy. Community and map features do not expose other users' photos or identities; they display only aggregated species information by area.
5. Species Identification and Nature Information Species identification and nature information may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable. WildFolio is provided for informational and personal nature-archive purposes only and should not be the sole basis for safety, medical, legal, conservation, environmental, agricultural, or professional decisions. In particular, do not rely on identification results for safety-related decisions such as consuming, touching, or handling wildlife. You are responsible for verifying important information independently.
6. Location and Field Safety WildFolio may use location information if you grant permission; location-based features may be approximate, incomplete, or unavailable. You are responsible for your own safety outdoors. Do not enter unsafe, restricted, private, or protected areas, and follow local laws, park rules, and conservation and property restrictions.
7. Subscriptions and Paid Features Core features (e.g., species identification) require an active subscription ("WildFolio Pro"). Current options: Weekly (KRW 3,900) and Yearly (KRW 39,900), or local-equivalent pricing. Prices, billing periods, renewal terms, and offers are shown in the app and in the App Store purchase flow before you confirm. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and payment is charged through your Apple App Store account. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple App Store account settings; deleting the app or your WildFolio account does not cancel an active subscription. Refunds and billing issues follow Apple's policies, except where required by law. If your subscription expires, is canceled, or is refunded, access to paid features may end.
8. App Store Terms If you download WildFolio from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple's terms, including the Apple Media Services Terms and Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) unless a custom license applies. Apple is not responsible for providing support or maintenance for WildFolio except as required by its terms or applicable law. Where WildFolio is distributed through another app store, that store's terms also apply.
9. Third-Party Services and External Biodiversity Data WildFolio relies on third-party services for authentication, hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, subscriptions, AI-assisted identification, maps, and species data. The nearby-species recommendation and map features may include public observation data from external biodiversity data providers such as iNaturalist and GBIF; that data is used under the licenses set by each provider (e.g., CC0, CC BY), and the original sources and license terms apply. We do not store or display external observer identities in the app. We are not responsible for third-party services' content, accuracy, availability, or policies.
10. Acceptable Use You agree not to: violate any law or regulation; upload unlawful, harmful, abusive, or infringing content; interfere with or disrupt WildFolio or its infrastructure; reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or misuse WildFolio; use WildFolio to harass, track, or harm others; circumvent subscription, entitlement, security, or access controls; or misrepresent observations, species data, or account information.
11. Intellectual Property WildFolio — including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and interfaces — is owned by Permission Labs Inc. or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use WildFolio under these Terms; these Terms grant you no ownership.
12. Feedback If you provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.
13. Privacy Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information. By using WildFolio, you also agree to our Privacy Policy: [insert public Privacy Policy URL]
14. Account Deletion You may request account deletion via in-app controls ([Settings > Delete account]) or by contacting us; deletion occurs after a 30-day grace period. Some information may be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, or dispute-resolution purposes. Deleting your account does not cancel subscriptions managed by the Apple App Store — cancel those in your store account settings.
15. Changes to WildFolio We may modify, suspend, or discontinue WildFolio or any feature, and may change eligibility, availability, subscriptions, or pricing where allowed by law and platform rules.
16. Disclaimers WildFolio is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that WildFolio will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or accurate.
17. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, Permission Labs Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or service interruption. Our total liability for any claim related to WildFolio or these Terms will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some may not apply to you.
18. Indemnity You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Permission Labs Inc. from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of WildFolio, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
